[This is just for a general guideline at the moment. It is only basics, and I am liable to change things at any given moment. A lot needs to be added, so this still isn't solid ground. If you have any questions or input just ask in the comments. Or visit the general chat as I tend to be active there]

-A Hue is created through the consumption of Stardust. Depending on what color of it they ate, your character will be categorized in one of these six main color groups. The Differing Hue groups have abilities unique for each. Choose wisely, because you will not be able to change later on when events start.

-The process of becoming a Hue is not fully understood. What we do know is that the Stardust turns a person's blood to the color their soul caters towards most.

-While their blood is still changing, they emit a beacon-like aura of sorts. This is a grace period of sorts. Bankers can sense the aura, and Saturations stay back. But when their blood becomes one with the new hue, this beacon evaporates. And like a shield dropping, Saturations would try and get an easy kill. Usually a Banker will send out a squad of experienced Hues to pick up the possible new recruit before such happens.

-The first thing that visibly changes after a Colorless eats Stardust is their eyes and skin. Every Hue's skin is tinted with the color, [causing their blush to be the color of their hue.]

-Eating the Stardust has a record of happening without the person realizing; an accident. There are only few who knew what they were doing.

-When new Hues are taken in to the Color Bank, an item of their choice – Best something they've had forever, or else have a bond with – will be imbued with their new colored blood. This transforms that item in to their weapon.

-Weapons and powers are a rather loose subject. As long as it makes sense for your character and their hue group, it should be fine. Remember creativity!

Hues of Red
:bulletred:
The beast tamers.
→ Info ←
These Hues tend to be more on the wild side. They are different from others as far as how they became a Hue; Bitten by a Stardust-infected animal is the way. It is unknown why the creatures of Maura only ever get in to red stardust, though theorized that animals might possess the same silver eyes as Bankers. And as such, are attracted to red the most. The animal that bit the Hue will often stay with them until death.
→ Traits ←
•A red Hue's power is known to represent the animal that bit them.
•Many a Red Hue's animal companion fight along side them, but they are not extremely strong. And a Red Hue would still need a proper weapon to fight Saturations with.
• All Red Hue MUST have been bitten by an animal.
• It's not a rule, but it's well known that the smaller the animal a Red Hue was chosen by, the more likely their Hue is to be lighter[more pink] Than others.

Hues of Orange
:bulletorange:
Aerial Attacks
→ Info ←
The main power of an Orange Hue is levitation. Whether it be – and more commonly – themselves, they may also be able to send an object in sight soaring through the air. But a Orange hue can't get anything off the ground without their weapon in hand. Which is usually something that can be their main link to the sky.
→ Traits ←
•Out of all the Hues, the orange category heralds some of the most exaggerated weapons.
•

Hues of Yellow:: RARE
:bulletyellow:
→ Info ←
As a Yellow Hue, one has a rare ability. Hues of Yellow can use their blood to make anything a weapon against Saturations and Saturists without imbuing the object. Because of this, many a Yellow Hue has taken to long range weaponry, though it is not restricted to such. No one knows exactly why these hues are so different, but it is known that they are scarce because of it.
→ Traits ←
•Yellows tend to have excellent eye sight.
•

Hues of Green::
:bulletgreen:
→ Info ←
Green Hues have conscious management over their weapons. The ability to use their mind and give their weapon will is truly great, but at times can go askew if their emotions aren't in check.
→ Traits ←
• It appears to be mentally jarring for a Green Hue to be separated from their weapon, so they tend to keep them at side. It is also known that if their weapon is at all harmed during battle, the Green Hue might feel a sharp pain in their head.

Hues of Blue::
:bulletblue:
Sorcery
→ Info ←
Control over some element seems to be key in the powers of a Blue Hue. Be it causing unexplained earthquakes, splashing their enemy with color, or burning them in a cobalt blaze. You could call them the witches or wizards of the Hues.
→ Traits ←
•One Blue Hue only has the ability of one element. But elements can be more than just water, air, fire, and earth.
•Their abilities tend to reflect on the weapon they hold.[i.e Snowglobe = freezing enemies]
•Blue Hues can't affect themselves with their own ability.[An air element Blue Hue? Think you can fly? No. You can't. A Blue hue with ice powers can not freeze their own timeline, etc etc]
•Though it can happen in all Hues, it's more prominent for a Blue hue's weapon to be disguised as something ordinary while it is not in use.[Jewelry, clothing, nicknacks in general]

Hues of Violet:: RARE
:bulletpurple:
Fatal background music.
→ Info ←
To the normal eye, one can not see the attacks of a Violet Hue. Somehow, they can project their color in to noise, causing either a beauteous melody or a terrifying screech, both perfectly capable of rendering a Saturation death, or for that matter even petrified. Violet Hue are rare, almost more so than yellows.
→Traits←
•Violets are the only Hue who can channel a deadly power out in noise. Because of this, their weapons seem to be limited to that of musical instruments, or other various tools that make sound.
•There has yet to be a Violet Hue who can use their own voice as a weapon. But it is speculated to be possible.

which color is the strongest?
Reply
:iconidyllby:
All colors are equal. What makes a Hue stronger is their experience and level, not their color. [All characters minus admin/mods begin with level 1 characters]

Are there going to be a really limited number of Yellows and Purples? And how are you going to pick who gets to be those colors?
Reply
:iconidyllby:
Yes, they will be limited. For now I'm going to be calculating them off how many other Hues there are: Yellow and Violet will never have a higher rate than a different Hue category. So, for example, if there only ended up to be five acceptable Red Hues, Yellow and Violet would have to be lower than that, or nonexistent.
As far as who gets them, it's a combination of first come first serve and whether a person's character is suitable for the group.

Are the animals that bite the Red Hues the same color as the hue (ie if the character is pink then their animal is also pink) or are they a pure red pigment?
Reply
:iconidyllby:
Yes, the animals contain the same hue that they inflict upon a person. All animals should have their eyes, and claws or teeth this color. But other than that should remain relatively colorless.
I say relatively because animals can have accessories colored, but also streaked fur/feathers/scales///whatnot much like a Hue's hair can be.
